// On the first Wednesday of every month, SCF gathers for a night of worship, praise, communion, prayer and fellowship.
These nights are an incredible boost for the spiritual life of all that attend. It is also a great time for people to connect and build relationships that help keep them connected to the SCF community.
These alone are great reasons to make this night a priority--BUT--the reality is that we shouldn't come for our own benefit at all. The Bible instructs us to worship the Lord with all our heart, mind, and strength. And to praise Him in the "Assembly". So truthfully, our motive should be to give unto the Lord and others, and the benefits we receive are secondary. That said, I know that those who have come on Wednesday nights have left encouraged and blessed. How could we not after being in God's presence with other believers?
